Any questions? Take a look at our FAQs below.
What are the trip dates?
You will be leaving the UK on Wednesday 9th June and returning to the UK on Tuesday 15th June 2021.
What are the passport requirements for entering the USA?
All travellers entering the USA under the Visa Waiver Program require machine-readable passports (an ePassport). If you do not have a machine-readable passport you will not be able to obtain an ESTA and will require a visa instead.
Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of entry into the USA which is 09.06.2021. If you own a passport which has been extended by 12 months, this will also be accepted.
Do I need a Visa to enter the USA?
With effect from 1 April 2016, anyone travelling to the US under the Visa Waiver Program will need to have a passport with an integrated chip (an ePassport).
If you do not hold a British Passport/EU or an American citizenship/passport you may require a tourist entry Visa for the US. Please check their website for more information regarding entry requirements.
If you already have a valid ESTA, please ensure you update it before travel with the relevant information.
Do I need any vaccinations or medical treatment before travelling to the United States?
We advise that travellers visit their doctor at least 4-6 weeks prior to departure to discuss any individual medical requirements for the trip. Your doctor will assess your individual health risks before recommending vaccines. We also recommend keeping up to date with the Gov.uk travel advice online as this is updated regularly.
What will the weather be like in June?
The temperatures from Nevada to Utah in June vary greatly, with highs of 40°C and lows of 14°C on average. Humidity and rainfall is low, with up to 14 hours of sunshine per day. You’ll be in open landscapes, so taking the necessary sun protection measures and staying hydrated is necessary, as well as bringing a jumper for the cooler evenings.
